Christmas is Coming! Christmas is Coming!

It has begun... Today I locked myself out of my office building, don't ask the particulars, but in the end...I was waiting for a locksmith and I had a little time to kill. So what is a poor damsel in distress to do with herself in a time of crisis..? SHOP!

So, I went to the store and ended up, unknowingly, beginning my Christmas shopping. I think it was actually last years stuff on sale, but nevertheless, I came away from the store with two Christmas gifts and wrapping paper! I turned Christmas music on just as I began this blog and the holidays commenced!

I don't know why I am so looking forward to Christmas this year, but I just know deep down, that this is going to be a holiday season to never forget! Thank heavens I am not working retail this year!

Ever wake up in the morning and think to yourself, "You know what? I'm going back to bed and not waking up till noon"? Screw school, work, whatever it is you have to get up for; I've had that week! I have to go back to "normal" next week, but after a little bit of a "freak" (it's a freak accident because I am , without a doubt, a freak) accident at school, so they gave me the week off. Sadly, my boss didn't, so I have had to go to work still. However, my lack of having to go to school has incurred much sleeping in, staying up way past my bedtime and in general, irresponsible behavior. I realized as I lay in bed till nineish this morning, how much I hate getting up in the morning and how tired I am of going to school. Hell, I can't even claim "senioritis" yet, I'm just tired of school. My new plan is to become something that doesn't require academic accomplishment or getting up early in the morning. Like being a rockstar, American Idol winner, or actress. Yeah, something like that! If I could only get someone to discover me....

Crap. Mine plan is thwarted. So, I guess I have to go back to waking up early on Monday and doing homework, and stuff (for J). Bummer days, why can't becoming a doctor be easy...? ;-)
